Gustar with infinitive verbs

An infinitive tells the meanign of the verb without naming any subject or tense. There are three kinds of infivitves in Spanish: those ending in -ar, -er, and -ir.

-ar infinitives= jugar
-er infinitiives= comer
-ir infinitives escribir

Just like nouns, infinitive can be used after a verbs like gustar to say what you like to do. You would conjugate gustar as followed:
Me gusta
Nos gusta
Te gusta
Os gusta
Le gustan
Les gusta


When it comes to infinitive verbs you would only use gusta. You would never use gustan.
